Introducing our Photo Competition Judges

We've been amazed by the beautiful entries we've had for our #gardenbirdpics photo competition this October (2018). From picture perfect robins to hungry blue tits we've had photographs that cover a real range of the birds we find in our gardens across the country, and some further afield too.   We decided that it was going to be too hard to just pick a winner ourselves, and perhaps a little unfair, and so we've put together a judging panel to spread the load and help us choose a rightful winner!

So, we bring you our #GardenBirdPics photo competition judging panel 2018! Bigger than Bake-Off!

Ben from Boxwild.

Ben from Boxwild leaning against a tree Boxwild hand blend a beautiful collection of seeds to help you look after the birds in your garden. Available on their website in gift boxes and subscription boxes, you can also purchase on our website, the perfect gift accompaniment to your Green&Blue Seed feeder. We were delighted when Ben agreed to help choose a winner in the competition.

Benn from Gokotta film.

Benn Berkeley from Gokotta with a big camera A man who's photography skills we're in constant awe of, Benn was a natural choice to help judge in the competition. One look at his instagram and you'll be assured he's a man that knows what makes a powerful image. Benn was also the man behind our recent short film, 'design the way nature intended'.

Eva of Captain Bobcat.

Eva of captain Bobcat Eva is a blogger who writes about parenting, eco-friendly and ethical lifestyle, travel, vegetarian recipes and her family adventures. We only came across Eva's blog recently but we already love it and knew she'd have a strong view about which entry she loved the best. So there you have our panel of judges, we can't wait to update you with news of our photo competition winner, very soon!

You can see all the entries in our Garden Birds Pics photo gallery over on our facebook page right here
